The young children learn simple commands, follow TPR (total physical response) which helps the students to follow directions and use their bodies to repeat actions, movements and words. This is a wonderful way to introduce the English language to our students. We also use music as a tool for learning English. Children love to sing and use body actions for finger-plays during songs and chants. When the students are ready we also introduce the alphabet letters to them and simple words that belong to that phonics sound. Our students are taught to love each other and their teachers as well as to respect the environment around them.
